Fairytale Photo Shoots and Princess Parties

I adore all portrait photography but I have found myself specialising in Princess Photo Shoots and Parties.

I have never really grown up from the little girl who loved to play dress up in fancy finery!

My collection of designer ball gowns and couture dresses is ever expanding and I have over 400 stunning frocks in various styles. I have everything from sleek and sparkly to boho chic, from lacey and frilly to glamorous and regal, and most are by some amazing designers, so you will totally be spoilt for choice! My collection starts at size 3-6 months and goes right through to size 26, so there is something for everyone.

Tiaras aplenty! Pearls, crystals, diamantes, create a rather lovely choice for princesses to accessorise their chosen dress.

Some specialty crowns and sparkly crystal ones for the more serious princesses! Elfin queen jewellery and medieval headresses for fantasy photos.

Children’s tiaras with alice bands to make it more comfy on the younger princesses and ribbons and clips for the ones who don’t stay still!

Flower crowns, floral clips, lace head sashes, pearl pins, net and feather fascinators, my collection grows continually! 

Most of my dresses cover your feet so you can be comfy in trainers but for the shorter dresses these shoes do make you feel super special (and it’s always nice to wear some of those coveted designers like Jimmy Choos and Louboutin)!

Everyone likes sparkly things and I’ve been collecting ‘bling’ for quite a while, so have a lovely treasure trove of gems to wear for your shoot – kids love choosing their favourites!

I have a variety of styles to suit most tastes, from classic strings of pearls, to delicate sapphire twists, to statement diamante necklaces and chokers.

Mums may want a princess session with their baby girl and I have a beautiful selection of baby headbands to match the baby dresses and designer gowns.

My dresses feature some amazing designers such as Ian Stuart, Mori-Lee/Madeline Gardener, Sherri Hill, Amanda Wyatt, Mark Lesley, Benjamin Roberts, Maggie Soterro, Alfred Angelo, Sassi Holford, Jessica McKlintock, Veromia, Maureen Myring Kesterton, Gina Bacconi, Linzi Jay, to name just a few and these ball gowns, sumptuous designer dresses and poofy frocks, make you feel like an absolute princess!

Meet Barbara and Bianca… my mannequins.

I spend a lot of time editing my photography so I spend some of my ‘down-time’ dress-making or adding embellishments (flowers, pearls, beads, and appliques) to simpler dresses. I’m in no way a seamstress but I love playing with pretty things and have made some beautiful accessories for my photography business that I’m pretty chuffed with!

Here is Bianca ‘rocking’ a random selection of pretty children’s frocks and teenage ball gowns, as Bianca is an adjustable mannequin and can go up to size 6. 

Then there is Barbara, my size 12 -16 adjustable mannequin, sporting a few of my different styles of dresses. Having a few hundred too look through, I just chose a few of my favourites to photograph.

I have an assortment of Princess related props which I totally adore.

My Princess Throne is perfect for someone wearing a very special dress to nestle in for a Photo Shoot.

My solid wood flower arch is a much prized prop that I designed and had specially made and I can adorn it with different colour schemes of flowers and chiffon lace bows depending on the theme of the Shoot.  My clever dad has made a swing seat so I can capture beautiful pictures of little ones on a floral swing seat too.

I have several chaise longues and special vintage, or plain painted chairs, which also make a lovely feature for a princess session. I basically spend a large proportion of my life arranging and attaching flowers to things!
